Merry Christmas and all of that

Sun Dec 14, 2008, 4:15 PM
  • Mood: Christmas Spirited
  • Listening to: the wonderful, wonderful silence
  • Reading: A new Kathy Reichs book...
  • Watching: The year fly by
Well, it's that time of year agian. The time when Christmas trees can be seen everywhere and everyone's wallets are gettig lighter by the second.

So, firstly, I would like to wish everyone a happy festive season whatever it is you may be celebrating. And, I hope you are all safe and well.

Secondly, I have started drawing again, as you can probably see from my latest submission. I have been practicing my marine animals in hopes to create something worthwhile in the coming months. I know it's been forever since I last updated anything, so I am hoping that going back to being a student will help with te creativity/inspiration.

So, I guess that's it for the time being, I don't really have much to write at the moment.
I promise to write a little more when I have some more time.

P.S. Seeing as I have almost finished reading every book I have ever owned, could someone please :begs: suggest something for me to read. I am getting desperate.

 Stay Safe

Happy Christmukkah! After tomorrow, I may be able to recommend something. I just bought two new books.

Merry and happy Christmukkah to you too.
Which books did you buy??

I've just finished reading Breaking Dawn for the fifth time and really need to stop reading the Twilight books over and over again. I am dying to see the Twilight movie, but alas, am waiting until Josh is able to come with me.

I got "Everything is Illuminated" by Jonathon Safron-Foer which I read his other book and loved it. I forget what the other book is called that I got today but I'm reading the previously mentioned one first.

Well, let me know if they're any good.

Just a question, have you read any of the "Midnight Sun" draft released by Stephanie Meyer?? I was gooing to, but can't bring myself to read it. I just want her to finish the book and then release it.

Nope, I'm the same as you. My friend read it and said it was good but I will wait for it patiently. If I read what is out, it will kill me to wait for the rest.

Well tell them that you are respecting her as an author and not read her leaked story. That's what I say.

I did, they don't care. It's like they're trying to get me to read it.
I presonally just hope she brings the book out soon and possibly continues with the story line. I kind of want to know more about whatever is supposed to happen in the "future".
Maybe it's just me. I don;t know.
